My role as Senior designer is servicing R G Carters national and regional clients from a network of offices based throughout the Central and Eastern regions of the United Kingdom, providing design, sustainable, partnered construction and project management services for private and public sector clients on projects ranging from £50 to over £50 million. These client include Waitrose, Tesco, Harrods, The Co-Operative Group and Asda to name a few. I also cover all Carter Group's vast array of associate building companies.

I'm responsible for covering all design aspects all of R G Carters business sectors spanning commercial, energy, health, industrial, leisure, retail, infrastructure, housing and more.

Playing a key role in every aspect & stage of the design process from initial conceptualisation, through to the delivery of the final design. From each idea conceived to rough sketches, image sourcing, design process, to print management, client liaising whilst adhering to strict corporate guidelines has furnished me a wealth of skills and knowledge at my disposal. It was whilst in this position I learnt a huge amount about typography, how it can form designs it's self to how simple fonts can change a design in a instant. These are skills that is still with me today that I feel set the best designers apart from designers.


UKISC – International Soccer Camps – January 2004 – August 2004 – Los Angeles, USA

Soccer Coach/Camp Director

Soccer coach in the west coast of sunny California, responsible for over 60 children between the ages of 4 - 16 years. Quite possibly one of the most rewarding jobs of my life, providing me with life skills & leadership qualities that will benefit me throughout my entire life. It was character building in every aspect of work, culture & life. As camp director I was also resonsible for liaising with the area/state director to instruct coaches under my supervision of company policies & ensure these were adhered too at all times. Ensuring coaches were punctual & providing the best soccer experience for the kids at all times was paromount for me. Travelling across the entire state of the beautiful CA from week to week to visiting states such as Nevada, Arizona and Portland to was a breathtaking experince I shall never forget, but no more so than making one week of every child I coached life an unforgettable experience.

Exciting role as a designer amoungst a team of 6 in an extreemly fast paced busy environment. Flyer Revolution was a trendy young design agency focused on print, posters, flyers, literature & PR across Leeds, & throughout the UK. Due to their popularity & reputation I was very proud to be a part of the team. Enabled me to gain invaluable design experience, bouncing ideas off fellow designers whilst learning current design trends & new software.

One to one client facing, & directly liaising with customers was a frequent yet essential part of building client relationships & harnessing the design ethos at Revolution. Taking brief from concept to completion was paramount in such a busy environment, regularly turning out multiple artwork on a daily basis.
